Halloween Craft: Candy Corn Pennant Garland
This kids' craft makes an awesome Halloween decoration.
First off, I totally cannot take credit for this awesome Halloween craft. I found it on Live and Love Out Loud and even used her printable template to make ours. I’ll show you how we did ours, but you should definitely check out the inspiration.
What You Need to Make a Candy Corn Pennant Garland
- White paper
- Construction paper (orange and yellow)
- Black marker
- Hot glue
- Template (draw your own or use the one linked to above)
Print or draw your candy corn template onto thick paper.
Trace the whole candy corn onto your white paper and then cut the template on the lines.
Trace the various parts of the candy corn onto the corresponding colors.
Notice that my colors are out of order. Real candy corn is yellow on the top, orange in the middle, and white on the bottom. (II forgot to look at a picture and guessed totally incorrectly!)
Cut out your big white piece and glue the others into their places on it. (This is our friend JC. He concentrates better with his tongue out.)
Use hot glue to attach the pennants to your ribbon so you have a garland to hang up for Halloween.
