Printable Thanksgiving Placecards
Thanksgiving is the start of the season when I start getting all domestic. And when I get domestic, I break out my copy of The Joy of Cooking. It’s not just any copy, but a really old one, which used to be my mother’s, and maybe even used to be my grandmother’s. It’s beat up and even has some ancient traces of cookie dough on a few pages. I would be absolutely lost without this cookbook, which makes no sense to me, because any other recipe books I own must have photos.
But there’s something very cool and retro about cooking from a cookbook with no pictures and recipes written almost 80 years ago. So when I decided to make Thanksgiving placecards this year, I decided they had to be retro, too.
