The old saying tells us that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. We celebrated that idea and made this fun craft project to hang up all through the month.
What You Need to Make Your Lion and Lamb Craft:

To make your lion's mane, cut yellow and brown construction paper into short strips. Ours are about 1" by 4".

Draw a lion's face onto your paper plate. Obviously, I'm no artist, but a 3-year-old doesn't seem to mind!

Alternate yellow and brown strips of construction paper as you glue them around the edge of your paper plate to make the lion's mane. (I feel better letting the little one use a glue stick than white glue.)

Cut two ears out of your white construction paper. They should be about 4" tall. Glue them to the top, above and to the side of the lamb's eyes.
My Girl Scout Daisy Troop loved making this quick and easy project!!
